Resequence

What is the Resequence Window?

Use the Resequence window to permanently rename the selected thumbnails in the Thumbnail Window to a new sequence.  If you want to change the order that the selection will be resequenced then, See: How do I arbitrarily order the sequence of thumbnails?

Example: The current selection contains 66 files.  The Example text shows the rename series will consist of 2 digits starting at 50, continuing through 99 and prefixed by "Saturn". Because this example configuration only allows for 50 unique names the warning icon is displayed and the Write button is disabled.  To resolve this issue, one could click 3 to extend the range or set the Initial value of the second digit lower or set the High range above 9.
